Our Summer Camp Program is operated by our non profit partner organization, "HWMA NP", a 501c3 Non-Profit for Amateur Sports. Because of limited availability, all agreements are Non-cancellable and Non-refundable. This program is for individuals of ages 6 to 13 years old only.

Summer is a critical time for your child’s development. Don’t let them spend it on the couch! At Hard Work Martial Arts, we offer a program for kids ages 6 through 13, that combines the excitement of a traditional summer camp with the structure and character education of a premier martial arts academy.

EXPERT-LED PROGRAMMING
Our camp isn't just supervised; it's curated by experts. Led by Executive Director Charles McDowell (Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development & Education + 35 years of Martial Arts experience), our curriculum is designed to be developmentally appropriate, safe, and engaging for every age group.

A TYPICAL DAY OF ADVENTURE INCLUDES:

Martial Arts Training: Daily Taekwondo lessons that build focus, self-defense skills, and physical confidence.

Parkour & Ninja Skills: Kids love our agility courses! We teach them how to move safely, overcome obstacles, and burn energy through controlled parkour training.

Sports & Fitness: Utilizing NASM-certified training principles, we run organized sports and fitness games that keep kids active and healthy.

Swimming & Splash Days: We beat the heat with scheduled swimming days to keep everyone cool and happy.

Exciting Field Trips: Adventures to local spots to explore, learn, and break up the routine and even all day trips to the National Zoo or Smithsonian to help strengthen mind and body.

Character Building: This is the "Hard Work" difference. Through "mat chats" and team activities, we actively teach leadership, respect, integrity, and perseverance.​
